DESCRIPTION

This is highly skilled work in directing, supervising skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers, including students and other youth trainees in the areas of Carpentry, Masonry, and Roofing. General Construction, and building trades, including Plumbing, Electricity, Exterminating, Painting, Care of Grounds and Building Equipment, General Plant Maintenance and Repairs and Preventative Maintenance.  Work involves the application of specialized knowledge in the building trades, and is performed with considerable independence in accordance with standard and/or accepted trade practices. This position works under the general supervision of the Assistant Director or Director of Maintenance and Plant Operations.
